We are excited to announce the 2014 Maine Youth Wilderness Leadership Program! This is the sixth year that we have provided this opportunity for ten Maine high school students to learn about the value of wilderness, and spend nine days backpacking in Baxter State Park with specialists in various fields. There is no cost to participants for this unique experience. Applications are due February 8th. Ten participants and six alternates, chosen for their leadership potential, will be selected by mid-March. Please help us spread the word by sharing this post, especially with any high school students, parents, or teachers you know.
